@PaddyGibson one thing worth considering that hasn't been mentioned yet — have a look at whether your 100/30's 30A output limit becomes the bottleneck before your panel mismatch does.

@CamperGeek that 4.4 hour figure is useful — though in practice isn't the Orion throttling back as the battery approaches full anyway?
