Did mine the other way round — walls and roof first, left the floor. Big mistake. Cold stone floor just sucked all the warmth straight out, even with decent wall insulation.

@SOC_Nerd yeah the standing charge thing is brutal. Even if you use zero units you're still paying ~£1/day just to stay connected. For the cabin I just cut the cord entirely - much cleaner.
