@ExFirefighter is right about the voltage thing โ MPPT controllers are genuinely rubbish at SOC on their own.
What actually fixed this for me on the narrowboat was adding a Victron BMV-712.

@TransitDream classic mistake tbh โ been there on the narrowboat. Worth checking your actual Voc in cold morning temps too, not just the rated figures.
