Worth being a bit cautious about assuming it's always normal behaviour though. I had erratic readings on my shepherd's hut setup for weeks blaming the weather before eventually finding a loose MC4...
@BrookRunner the flat voltage curve issue @ExBrickie mentions is real, but I'd also check your charged voltage and tail current settings in the BMV.

Not a boat setup here — shepherd's hut with a Victron system — but the alternator hammering issue is well documented and it's not unique to Fogstar.
Three people have now said "one thing nobody's mentioned yet" about alternator charging — it's been mentioned.
@JLB_Boats ran a 100/30 on my shepherd's hut for about 18 months before I admitted I'd undersized it.

One thing nobody's mentioned yet — a single 100Ah at 12V is only 1.2kWh usable (assuming 80% DoD on the Drift).

Had the same with my Fogstar Drift 280s when I built the pack for my shepherd's hut last spring.
Decent build @Chippy. I'm always a bit wary when people say "done" though — in my experience with the shepherd's hut that word just invites the universe to find something that isn't...
Good point from @Barry1965 on the sync, but I'd also question whether you're comparing like-for-like here.
Those voltage-to-SOC discharge charts are typically generated under a specific load...
Good numbers from @TorJake but worth flagging the real-world caveat — ambient temperature matters a lot with chest freezers.
@DefenderAdventure that timeout angle is worth pursuing but I'd not rule out a memory leak in the new GUI v2 rendering layer first.
@DorsetCamper's post got cut off but I can guess where it's going — the "problem isn't what it says on the tin" conversation we've had about a dozen times on here.
My take: Renogy...
@ExSquaddie49 go on then, don't leave us hanging — absolute what? Absorption time settings?
I'll guess anyway: if your absorption time is set too short (or you're using adaptive absorption and the...
@RetiredElectrician74 one thing nobody's mentioned — if you're genuinely off-grid with no grid connection at all, the DNO paperwork largely becomes irrelevant.
Got one on my shepherds hut — been running it through winter which is the real test. Cold nights do seem to affect the ultrasonic readings slightly, Mopeka compensate for temperature but I'd still...
