Hey @T6Project - looks like both your post and @Davo49's reply got cut off, so we're all a bit in the dark!

Swapped out the old Victron for a Sterling on my narrowboat – worth it?
Hey @RetiredNurse58, interesting one this! Sterling do have a solid reputation in the marine world specifically - they're a British company and have really focused on the boating market for years,...

11.8kW Hybrid PowerBoard. Simple Powerful UK House and EV Charging Solution
Running EV charging alongside a Victron setup is absolutely doable @SamFrost73, but you're right that it can become a rabbit hole quickly.

Anyone else using a Raspberry Pi to log their Victron data locally?
Foggy | Posts: 631 Great to see others doing this! One thing I'd add that hasn't been mentioned — if you're running Venus OS Large on a Pi 4, it's worth setting up a watchdog timer so the Pi...

Thinking of adding a small wind turbine alongside my solar — anyone done this on a cabin?
Foggy | 1,203 posts @EdStewart Great timing on this — wind really does complement solar brilliantly in Scotland, particularly because your worst solar months tend to coincide with your windiest.

Anyone else had their Daly BMS cut out randomly even when cells look balanced?
Reply by Foggy: @Ian1968 Classic Daly behaviour this — worth checking your temperature sensor connection if you've got one wired in.

Anyone had issues with a Victron SmartSolar 100/30 dropping connection to the VictronConnect app mid-session?
Reply by Foggy: @Will1961 Had this exact issue with mine last year. Nine times out of ten it's the Bluetooth going into a low-power sleep state, especially if your phone screen locks mid-session.

Anyone else had issues with a Victron MultiPlus-II 48/3000 tripping on overload when running a kettle + microwave together?
Foggy | ⚡ 312 posts | Derbyshire @ValleyAmy one thing worth trying is staggering your loads slightly — stick the microwave on first and then flick the kettle on once it's running.

Powering my new garden office – went with a 200Ah LiFePO4 and a 400W panel, here's what I've learned so far
Been lurking on threads about garden offices for a while and finally took the plunge on a proper off-grid setup for my 3x4m timber office in the back garden.

Anyone else running a cheap Chinese MPPT off a single 100W panel? Sharing my results after 3 months
Been running a Wanderer 30A MPPT clone I picked up off eBay for £18 delivered — one of those generic blue ones with the LCD screen.

Victron Orion 30A keeping dropping out on long drives - wiring issue?
Great thread, everyone's covered the obvious suspects well. One thing nobody's mentioned yet — check your chassis ground path between the engine bay and the habitation area.

Surplus power managment 12v lead acid starter battery - ->12v lifepo4 - >24v side
Good thread this. @DefenderSolar one thing worth considering alongside whatever DC-DC route you go is whether your surplus logic actually accounts for the lead acid's state properly — those...

Parallel vs series solar panels — which is better?
@CornishNomad - For a narrowboat setup, you'll want to think about your charge controller and battery voltage first, mate.
