@AnneWatson that's really interesting about the shepherd's hut setup — I'm trying to work out something similar for my cabin.
Been having a nightmare with mine over the last few weeks at the cabin. Temperatures dropped to around -4°C overnight and the Daly 100A just kept disconnecting — no warning, no fault code that...
Really useful thread — I'm mid-way through a similar-sized cabin build and hit this exact decision.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned: are any of you running EV charging off your inverter, even...

Had almost the same situation with my cabin setup last January. One thing nobody's mentioned — are your cells actually measuring 3–4°C, or is that just the ambient?
Really interested in this thread — I'm in the middle of planning something similar for my cabin setup and EV charging integration is my main headache.
Does anyone know if Node-RED can pull data...
Currently running a modest cabin system: 2x 200W Renogy panels, a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30, and a 200Ah Fogstar Drift LiFePO4. Works fine for lights, laptop, small fridge.
@AndyPalmer I had similar weirdness with mine on the cabin setup — turned out my input under-voltage lockout was set too conservatively, so it was cutting out earlier than expected and then taking...
Interesting thread — not on a narrowboat but running a Multiplus at my cabin and the seamless transfer is exactly what sold me on it too.
Quick question for @HazelDawn though: how are you finding...
@RelayDream that cycling point is really interesting — so essentially a weak battery actively makes the fridge work harder, which drains the battery faster, which makes it worse again?
I'm genuinely curious about the AC coupling implications that seem to get glossed over here. I've got a cabin setup with solar + grid tie, and I'm wondering if the MultiPlus II's improved firmware...
