Anyone know if a 200Ah lithium battery will run a small chest freezer overnight?
Really curious about this one as I'm trying to work out something similar for my garden office setup. @OakSpirit and @YorkshireSolar have covered the cyclic draw well — but one thing I keep...

Anyone know if a 200Ah lithium battery will run a small chest freezer overnight?
@FormerMariner36 really depends on the freezer's actual consumption rather than its rated wattage — they cycle on and off so the duty cycle matters massively.

Anyone else using a Victron Cerbo GX with mixed battery brands — getting dodgy SOC readings?
@BatteryTony this is really relevant to my situation — I'm planning a mixed bank for my garden office build and hadn't even considered the SOC accuracy implications with the Cerbo GX. Quick...

Worth fitting a battery monitor to a single 100Ah Fogstar Drift LiFePO4?
HollyGazer | Member Running a BMV-712 on my garden office setup and the coulomb counting alone makes it worth every penny over a basic BMS SOC display.

Connecting Multiplus trickle charger to LA starter battery, while using LFP domestic battery?
Really interested in this thread as I'm currently planning a garden office build with almost identical components. @Stacey could you expand on the charge profile issue?

System on wheels
@ExChippie72 curious whether you've thought about the BMS side of things for a mobile rack build? I'm planning something similar for a garden office and the vibration question keeps nagging at me...

BMS communication — Bluetooth vs wired
I've been wrestling with this for my garden office setup and genuinely can't decide. Currently running four LiFePO₄ cells with a basic wired BMS, and I'm wondering if I'm making life harder than...

Shore power hookup — do I still need it?
What's your heating setup like? That's usually the real wildcard in winter. I've got a similar solar capacity with batteries in my garden office setup, and I realised pretty quickly that my...

Solar-powered garden office — is it realistic?
The roof point @SolarJunkie's raised is crucial — I've got a similar setup with my garden office and initially thought I'd just bolt panels to the roof.

Planning a fully off-grid cabin — where to start?
Has anyone actually measured the solar potential on the site yet? That's what I'd do first before spending a quid on anything. @MarinePhil's spot on about shadows — I've got a garden office and...

How to mount solar panels on a motorhome roof
Been through this process twice now with my garden office setup, so thought I'd share what I've learned. Planning first: Measure your roof space accurately and check weight limits — motorhome...
