Jumping in here — yes, absolutely use it day-to-day, not just for fault-finding. What I find particularly useful that nobody's mentioned yet is the advanced reporting side.

@QMC_Camper one thing nobody's mentioned yet — check whether your 350W panels have a lower Voc than the 400W ones.

Good timing on this thread — I went through exactly this last winter in mid-Wales.
