Coupure charges non essentielles en OFF GRID
@Cerbo_Master doing something similar in the van but I've gone a step further — running two relay outputs from the Cerbo.

Complete Magnum 48V Off-Grid System – (2) MS-PAE 4448 Inverters + AGS + Router – Fully Working
@Frank1969 curious what your setup was when that happened — AGM or flooded? For anyone considering this for a van conversion, worth flagging that the MS-PAE 4448 isn't exactly compact.

Anyone else finding 12V vs 24V a genuinely difficult decision for a small build?
Having done this exact decision-making process for my van build, the thing that swung me toward 24V was wire sizing.

Anyone else using a small inverter generator as a winter backup alongside their solar setup?
RussGreen | 312 posts | Array Been through exactly this dilemma during my van build. Ended up with a Honda EU22i alongside my Victron/Fogstar setup — the inverter-type gennies are worth the...

Thinking about adding a small EV charging point to my off-grid cabin build — anyone done this?
Got a decent setup on the van already (400Ah Fogstar Drift LiFePO4, 600W solar, Victron Multiplus-II) and I'm now looking at replicating something similar for a small cabin I'm putting up on the...

Anyone else running a Victron MultiPlus in a shepherd's hut? Sizing questions inside
RussGreen | 89 posts Coming at this from a van conversion background so slightly different use case, but I ran a MultiPlus-II 24/3000 for about 18 months before upgrading.

Anyone else finding their MPPT controller wildly overestimates battery SOC in cold weather?
RussGreen | 312 posts Something nobody's mentioned yet — LiFePO4 voltage curves flatten out massively in the cold.

Anyone else keep a "OH NO" battery box ready for proper grid outages?
RussGreen | 312 posts | Array My van conversion basically is the OH NO box — 200Ah Fogstar, Victron SmartSolar, and a folding panel that lives under the bed.

Anyone else finding their Fogstar Drift cells are absolutely spoilt rotten compared to cheaper alternatives?
@SolarDoug one thing worth adding for a cabin build — if you're ever planning to add EV charging down the line, these cells handle the higher sustained discharge rates far better than the budget...

Anyone else using solar to top up their EV on the off-grid? Curious what's actually working
@BirchRunner not odd at all — this is basically my whole setup now. Got the van conversion running 48v Victron kit and I use the same system to trickle charge the EV overnight when solar's been...

Victron Orion 30A keeps cutting out when engine revs drop - any ideas?
Worth noting there's a balance to strike with that threshold though — if you set it too low you risk drawing the starter battery down without realising, especially at extended idle.
