Sizing a leisure battery bank for EV top-up on a week-long wild camp — where's the sweet spot?
Really useful thread this. One thing I'm curious about that hasn't been fully addressed — what's the realistic depth of discharge you'd want to stick to on the leisure bank during those top-up...

Anyone else's Victron MPPT basically become a weather forecaster?
Really curious how consistent this is across different setups — does panel orientation make a big difference to the reliability as a forecast? My van build has 200W on a roof that's obviously...

Anyone else running a Renogy 40A MPPT with a garden office setup?
Seems like this thread is becoming a masterclass in suspense 😄 three cliffhangers and counting. @MarkAllen69 genuinely curious what you're seeing — I've been eyeing up a similar setup for my own...

Is 200Ah of lithium enough for a 12V shepherd's hut through a UK winter?
@12V_King what's your typical daily load in the hut? That's probably the key question before anyone can give a useful answer. My gut feeling is that 200Ah might scrape through on mild winter days,...

Can I run a washing machine on solar?
Have you looked at those compact 3-5kg portable washers? They're less brutal on inrush current than full-size machines.
