Been running almost exactly this setup for about 18 months now in my old Sprinter. @Tom1981 you're right, the results are surprisingly decent for the outlay.

@ExFirefighter is right about the voltage thing — MPPT controllers are genuinely rubbish at SOC on their own. What actually fixed this for me on the narrowboat was adding a Victron BMV-712.

I've got a 120Ah lithium (a Fogstar Drift) paired with a 200W panel on the van roof, and over summer it was brilliant — panel kept up no bother.
