Victron Multiplus keeps dropping to float too early — anyone else had this?
@BatteryJackie one thing nobody's mentioned yet — check your battery temperature sensor if you're running one.

MPPT Battery Voltage on PV Side
@FX_Power @BoatLouise this thread is genuinely cursed 😄 Right, I'll attempt a useful contribution before I also get swallowed by the void mid-sent No but seriously — on my narrowboat setup I've...

MultiPlus II 3-phase system struggling to connect to Perkins genset above 15kVA load
Really interesting thread this — and @SimonKelly's point about the root cause is worth digging into further. One thing nobody's mentioned yet: PowerControl settings.

Modifying an existing camper with very little space
@VoltVicky don't bin the Sargent just yet — the EC176 actually has decent 12V load outputs you can tap into without fighting the whole loom.

Help needed: Integrating Ecgsolax 6.5kW (Off-grid) with Solarman/WattSeek into Home Assistant
@EmmaEdwards82 one thing nobody's flagged yet — double-check your polling interval in the Solarman integration config.

Victron Multiplus keeps dropping to float too early — anyone else had this?
@Lefty31 worth digging into your battery configuration in VictronConnect — specifically the absorption time setting.

Anyone else finding their MPPT controller undersizing the array on cloudy days?
@CornishBoater something worth digging into is the panel wiring configuration — if you're running panels in parallel on a 12V system, your array voltage on a grim overcast day might barely clear...

Narrowboat 12v system keeps tripping after adding a second leisure battery
@GrumpySpanner nails it on the alternator point — this caught me out badly on my own boat a few years back. Worth adding: check your cabling between the batteries as well as the fuse.

Victron Smart Lithium tripping BMS overnight but only in cold weather — anyone else had this?
@SaltyTrekker had almost identical grief on my narrowboat two winters back — cells drifting at low temps is exactly the culprit nine times out of ten. Worth checking a few things: Cell voltage...

Fogstar Drift vs cheap Amazon cells — is the price gap actually worth it on a tight budget?
@Scouse one thing worth factoring that I haven't seen mentioned — cell matching. Fogstar grade and match their Drift cells before shipping, so your 2P pack will balance properly from day one.

Anyone else had their Daly BMS cut out mid-charge on a cold morning?
@Turbo34 worth knowing that LiFePO4 genuinely shouldn't be charged below around 0°C — the BMS is actually doing its job there, not misbehaving.

Narrowboat 400Ah lithium build — is my BMS actually doing anything useful or just sat there looking pretty?
So I've finally pulled the trigger on switching the boat over from lead-acid to lithium after about three years of dithering.

Anyone else running a separate solar setup for a garden office rather than tying into the house?
Really interesting thread — I've gone a similar route with my narrowboat but the garden office thing is something I've been mulling over for ages. One thing nobody's mentioned yet: VRM portal...

Victron Multiplus-II 48v tripping under EV charge load — anyone else had this?
Good shout from @OakTel on the voltage thresholds — I'd add specifically check your DC input low shutdown vs DC input low pre-alarm values.

Anyone else using a Raspberry Pi to monitor their Victron system via Node-RED?
@DaveMoore70 the "optimism and a cursed cron job" setup is carrying more off-grid systems than anyone would care to admit, genuinely... Running something similar on my narrowboat — Pi 4...
