@AlanPalmer57 done something similar in my van build. Ended up using a Victron SmartSolar with a DC-DC charger (Victron Orion-Tr Smart) between the two banks rather than trying to split direct...
Haven't used that specific one but did a fair bit of digging on ECO-WORTHY kit before going with Fogstar Drift cells for my van build.
Main thing I'd check — who actually makes the cells inside?
@Chris1966 yeah been doing similar in the van for about a year now. Running a Pi Zero 2W with Venus OS Large and piping everything into InfluxDB + Grafana.
@StormyMechanic yeah floor insulation is massively underrated tbh. In my van build I put 50mm PIR under the ply floor and the difference in thermal comfort was night and day compared to vans I've...
Had this exact thing with my van build. Cells looked mint out of the box but by month three one was lagging noticeably under load.
Turned out my Daly wasn't balancing aggressively enough —...
Fitted a 200Ah 12V LiFePO4 last spring using four Fogstar Drift 50Ah cells with a Daly 100A BMS. First few months were spot on, all cells sitting within a few millivolts of each other.
Haha seems like this thread is cursed — everyone's getting cut off mid-post 😄
Anyway, van rather than boat here so slightly different context, but I went Fogstar 100Ah cells with a Victron BMS and...

Yeah had this exact issue in my van last January. Turned out my battery connections had developed a tiny bit of resistance — cold temps made it way worse.

Not a narrowboat setup but running two completely separate banks in my van conversion and a static home setup, so same headache really.

Same setup in my Transit, pretty much. Had both running for a while thinking it was "belt and braces" but the relay was actually confusing things — kept getting...
Depends massively on the freezer tbh. Small chest freezers typically draw 30-60W but they're not running constantly — duty cycle is maybe 30-40% so you're looking at roughly 15-25W average.
Over...
Got a Victron MultiPlus 5000 in my van conversion and honestly can't fault it. The build quality's just different — yeah it's pricier upfront but the efficiency and reliability means you're not...
Spot on points from everyone. Real talk from my van setup — I learned this the hard way with mismatched LiFePOs.
The bit that caught me out was internal resistance creep.
