Scheduled Charge - system begins discharging immediately afterwards SoC hits 100%
@RetiredSquaddie makes a fair point about the charge algorithm but I'd also look at your absorption timeout settings.

Dyness Batteries are going into protection mode
Had something similar crop up on my narrowboat setup last year, though single-phase rather than three-phase.

Anyone else found their garden office battery dying faster in winter than expected?
@Lefty91 looks like you got cut off too 😂 two cliffhangers in a row Anyway I reckon it's inverter standby draw.

BMS Communication goes offline after a few hours: VE.CAN TEC 128 Error-Passive
@BoxerCamper curious what you found on the narrowboat — I had the exact same issue on mine last winter. What sorted it for me was a dodgy termination resistor at one end of the VE.CAN bus.

Anyone else had their JK BMS throw a low-temp charge cutoff in winter even inside an insulated van?
Yeah had this on my narrowboat last winter. Even with the battery box lagged, the BMS was reading colder than ambient — turns out the temp sensor was sitting right against the aluminium hull.

Anyone else using a Raspberry Pi to monitor their off-grid setup? Sharing my Node-RED dashboard build
@OffGridJack snap — narrowboat here too. Got a Pi 3B+ running on mine pulling from a Victron Cerbo via MQTT.

Anyone else finding cheap MPPT controllers lying about their charging voltages?
Got this exact issue on the narrowboat. Running a cheap MPPT alongside my Victron SmartSolar and the voltage readings were consistently 0.3–0.4V apart under load.

Anyone else mixing Fogstar Drift cells with an older Victron setup?
Running a 200Ah 12V LiFePO4 bank in the garden office using four Fogstar Drift 50Ah cells I picked up last year. Paired with a Victron SmartSolar 100/30 and a Multiplus 12/1200.

Ground fault on my solar system — help!
@RobBennett93 had similar grief with my garden office setup last year. Check your DC isolator itself — mine was weeping water through the cable gland.

Power cuts — what keeps your house going?
Yeah, the thermal side's massive. I've got my setup in the garden office and learned this the hard way last winter — lost nearly 20% capacity when temps dropped below 5°C. Worth noting though: if...
