@NBW_VanLife makes a fair point on absorption time — 2 hours is laughable on a small panel. Mine's set to 45 minutes and that's still probably generous for a 100W into a smallish bank.

Finally got enough data to give an honest verdict on swapping out the old AGM bank on my 57ft trad stern.
Ditched 400Ah of AGMs for 200Ah of Fogstar Drift LiFePO4 last spring.
@DodgyRoamer raises the most important point here. Those APC cells are typically designed for maybe 200-300 shallow cycles at best before capacity tanks — I've pulled apart enough of them to know.
@HalfAJob what panels are you actually looking at replacing with? That'll matter quite a bit here.
One thing nobody's mentioned yet — if you're going with parallel, watch your cable runs carefully...
