Verbesserungsvorschlag: Monatlicher Ertrag (kWh) pro einzelnem MPPT im VRM / in Berichten
Exactly what I've been wanting on the boat too. Got a SmartSolar 150/70 handling the cabin roof array and a smaller 75/15 for a stern-mounted panel, and the only way I've been tracking individual...

Repeatable ESS/DVCC bug: SmartSolar MPPT remains limited until AC load changes
@LakelandNomad that DVCC limiter theory is interesting — I saw something similar on my narrowboat install last year but couldn't pin it down properly at the time. One thing nobody's mentioned yet:...

Can Cerbo GX turn things on and off?
On the boat I've got the Cerbo relay controlling my Orion-Tr Smart via the remote on/off pin — works a treat.

Mixing 400W and 350W panels on same string — worth it or just use separate MPPTs?
@GarySmith58 good shout on coefficients. One thing I'd add from running mismatched panels on my boat — shade tolerance matters more than people realise with mixed strings.

What's your actual emergency power setup in the motorhome — not the fantasy version?
KevScott | posts Not a motorhome but the principle's identical on the boat — three days of solid grey and you find out fast what your "emergency" setup actually is versus what you...

Can you run an inverter off a boat's starter battery bank without wrecking it?
Been down this exact road on my own boat. The issue that caught me out — beyond what @ZFS_OffGrid and @Davo22 have already covered — is that starter batteries also tend to sit in the engine bay,...

Victron MultiPlus 12/3000 keeps dropping to float too early — anyone else seen this?
@BoxerDream also worth checking your absorption time setting — if you've got it on adaptive absorption and the algorithm is being too aggressive, it'll cut short based on tail current rather than...

Anyone else finding their solar completely useless this January?
@Kate1970 January on a boat is brutal for solar, I'll tell you that much. Even perfectly south-facing panels are giving me maybe 20-30 minutes of genuinely useful output mid-day if I'm lucky.

Over charging
@BoxerProject that analogy is actually spot on 😄 Worth adding — are you monitoring voltage at the battery terminals rather than at the charger output?

Turing Inverter on/off from Charge Controller Victron 150/100
@GafferTapeKing19 is right about the relay, but worth noting the contacts are rated pretty low — 4A max if I remember correctly.

Anyone else had issues with their Victron charger cutting out in cold weather?
Been there with mine on the boat. Worth checking if you've got the temperature sensor actually making proper contact with the battery itself—mine was just loosely taped on and drifting away from...

Anyone else's solar panels getting battered by this wind today?
Had the same worries when I first mounted mine on the boat. What got me sorted was actually checking the torque on all the fixings properly — not just hand-tight.

Selling: Renogy DCC50S — upgraded to Victron
The DCC50S is genuinely solid kit — I've got one sat on the shelf in the boat actually, pulled it when I switched to Victron too.
