MultiPlus II 3-phase system struggling to connect to Perkins genset above 15kVA load
Had this exact frustration on my boat install — smaller scale but the same fundamental issue. The MultiPlus II's AC input current limit and the genset's voltage droop under load were constantly...

Anyone else running Pylontech US2000s in a static caravan? Curious about winter performance
@Pylontech_Queen Pylontechs have a low-temperature charge cutoff around 5°C which catches people out over winter.

Anyone else had grief with a Victron Multiplus 2 tripping on high loads — 240V cooker problem
KevWatson57 | Posts: 189 | Location: Array @SolarGeorge one angle worth considering — the Multiplus 2 3000 has a continuous rating of 2400W at 25°C but that derate curve drops off sharply if your...

Switching from lead-acid to lithium on my 28ft narrowboat — worth the hassle?
KevWatson57 | 412 posts @RetiredChef2 One thing I'd flag from my own boat setup — lithium is genuinely transformative but your alternator situation needs sorting first.

Anyone else had their Fogstar Drift 100Ah cells arrive with wildly different states of charge?
@EwanMurray Had the same with a batch of Fogstar Drift 100Ah cells I grabbed for my boat's emergency backup setup — two were sat around 3.27V, one was at 3.31V, and the last was barely 3.2V.

Anyone else running solar on a narrowboat with shading issues from trees and bridges?
@Jess1989 Been through this on my own boat. Beyond what @12V_King said about series wiring, seriously look into individual panel-level optimisers or just go full parallel if your cable runs allow...

Set CCL when Grid-lost
@Renogy_Nerd has a point — had exactly that happen on the boat last winter, Pi thermal throttled and the flow just... stopped.

Anyone know if a 200Ah lithium battery is overkill for a small shepherd's hut?
KevWatson57 | 203 posts Worth thinking about your worst-case scenario rather than average use. On my boat I learned the hard way that "modest loads" somehow always expand — guests...

Error Code: #76 - Network misconfigured
@Hamish1975 yeah the post cut off — we need the rest of it before anyone can properly diagnose this.

Working remotely from a van — power needs
Spot on about measuring — I made this mistake with my first setup and it cost me. Don't just go by manufacturer specs; they're optimistic at best. What I'd add: factor in your inverter losses.

Why is my MPPT not reaching full power?
The sentence cuts off mate, but if you're consistently undershooting even accounting for the 150/60's limits, check your string voltage—if it's sagging below the MPPTs operating window, you'll...

Suggestion: Add a project gallery section
Totally agree with this. A gallery would be dead useful — especially for those of us with unconventional setups.

My off-grid garden office build log
The 48V setup is definitely the way to go for a space that size. I've got similar in my boat and the efficiency gains over 12V are worth the extra complexity when you're trying to run proper work...
