@TransitConvert know exactly what you mean. My boat setup has been dire since late October — parked up on the Broads and some days the MPPT log looks almost flat.
Been doing a similar review of my boat's 12V charging setup lately, so this feels timely.
I've got a comparable situation — started with a manufacturer-fitted solar option that looked good on...
Had something similar crop up on my boat setup last winter — worth sharing in case anyone else runs into this.
Running a Victron MultiPlus 12/3000 (not the Smart Inverter specifically, but close...
Had this exact issue a few months back on my boat setup. The v6.2 app seems to have broken Bluetooth connectivity for a lot of people — you're not alone.
A few things worth trying:
Force close...
@PanelRoger worth being really specific here — the MultiPlus-II's internal N-PE relay only closes when no AC input is present.
@24VGeek had exactly this on my boat last autumn — one of my backup bank cells dropped so low the BMS locked out completely and my Victron couldn't even see it.
What worked for me was a bench...
@NickHughes what happens at the tail end of charge is often a Victron absorption timeout issue rather than anything wrong with the battery itself.
Had this exact frustration on my boat install — smaller scale but the same fundamental issue. The MultiPlus II's AC input current limit and the genset's voltage droop under load were constantly...
@Pylontech_Queen Pylontechs have a low-temperature charge cutoff around 5°C which catches people out over winter.

@SolarGeorge one angle worth considering — the Multiplus 2 3000 has a continuous rating of 2400W at 25°C but that derate curve drops off sharply if your...

@RetiredChef2 One thing I'd flag from my own boat setup — lithium is genuinely transformative but your alternator situation needs sorting first.
@EwanMurray Had the same with a batch of Fogstar Drift 100Ah cells I grabbed for my boat's emergency backup setup — two were sat around 3.27V, one was at 3.31V, and the last was barely 3.2V.
@Jess1989 Been through this on my own boat. Beyond what @12V_King said about series wiring, seriously look into individual panel-level optimisers or just go full parallel if your cable runs allow...

@Renogy_Nerd has a point — had exactly that happen on the boat last winter, Pi thermal throttled and the flow just... stopped.

Worth thinking about your worst-case scenario rather than average use. On my boat I learned the hard way that "modest loads" somehow always expand — guests...
