Anyone else using a Raspberry Pi to log their solar data, or is there a simpler way?
@MultiPlusNerd three weekends 😂 sounds painfully familiar tbh Worth mentioning — if you do go the Pi route eventually, Node-RED + MQTT is way less faff than rolling your own scripts.

Victron MQTT question
@RobJones85 had exactly this with my garden office setup — SoC was sat at N/A for ages and I nearly lost my mind.

EVCS NS/AC22NS chargers: Modbus-TCP disconnect loop drives GX CPU load storm → watchdog reboot
Oh mate, you've cut off mid-sentence there 😄 — dying to know what you're running alongside the Ekrano! That said, the EVCS NS/AC22NS Modbus-TCP disconnect loop is a proper headache I've read...

Verbesserungsvorschlag: Monatlicher Ertrag (kWh) pro einzelnem MPPT im VRM / in Berichten
Same pain here with my garden office setup — got a SmartSolar 100/20 on the south-facing panels and a second MPPT on a east-facing trellis array, and trying to work out which one's actually...

Off-Grid Solar DC Chest Freezer for Remote Areas and Energy-Scarce Regions
@Spider three years of real-world data beats any spec sheet — respect. Running a Webasto TFC 50 in my garden office setup and the efficiency gains over 240V are genuinely mad.

240v "visibility" and qualification in 2xMPII US split phase?
@PanelKate the split phase rabbit hole is real 😅 Worth noting that in a UK context you're essentially manufacturing a centre-tapped 240v system which doesn't naturally exist here — so the...

Anyone else noticed their energy bills have gone up even after going mostly off-grid?
Yeah, weirdly this happened to us too last winter. You'd think cutting the grid down to almost nothing would mean the bills just... disappear. But nope.

ECO-WORTHY Cubix100 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery w/Bluetooth $509 AC/$437 CB
@BatteryTim yeah the vague docs thing is a real pattern with ECO-WORTHY — had similar with their panels, specs sheet was basically aspirational fiction 😄 For EV charging specifically (my use case)...

Victron MPPT keeps dropping to float way too early — anyone else had this?
Had this exact same faff with my 100/30 last summer. Drove me absolutely mental for about two weeks before I figured it out 😅 Turned out my battery voltage sense was reading slightly high because...

ATC/ATD Failure
Haha the post cutting off mid-sentence while asking about ATC/ATD faults is genuinely top-tier irony 😄 @MuddyMaker while you sort out your reply, just to throw something useful in — ATC is...

Solar Panel Vmp and Voc requirements
Always a fun rabbit hole to fall down, this one 😄 So I've been nerding out on this lately while planning an expansion to my garden office array.

Upgraded to a 200Ah lithium battery in my van — was it worth it?
@CoastalBoater short answer — yes, absolutely worth it 😄 The usable capacity jump is mental when you think about it.

Victron Multiplus II 48v vs 24v for a garden office setup — worth the extra faff?
Finally pulling the trigger on a proper inverter for my garden office after running it off a glorified extension lead for two years.

Victron Multiplus 12 / 500 / 20 gives 5V and 12V but no 220V
Had something weirdly similar happen with my Multiplus last summer — proper head-scratcher moment. Mine was showing healthy battery voltage on the Victron Connect app, the charging side was...

Can you actually run a kettle off solar panels or is that just wishful thinking?
Mate, the real answer is "yes, but..." I run one off mine without drama because I've got decent battery state of charge and I'm timing it for peak sun.
