Jumping in with something slightly different — has anyone looked at whether the Phoenix Smart IP43 shows charging current in real time on VRM, or just state/status?

Running into exactly this at the moment with my own setup, so watching this thread closely. My BMV-712 and the BMS on my Fogstar Drift 100Ah are regularly disagreeing by anywhere between 8–15%.

Been running almost the exact same setup but with a Renogy 40A DC-DC into a 200Ah Fogstar Drift 12V — genuinely curious whether you're seeing any conflict between the two charge sources fighting...

Really interested in this thread as I'm trying to figure out if I can do something similar for EV charging purposes — basically using a mixed array to feed a Victron MPPT and then into a battery...

@VivaroWanderer curious what your actual daily mileage looks like when wild camping — are you driving to a spot and staying put for several days, or moving regularly? That changes the equation...

Running a similar setup in my panel van — 200Ah Fogstar lithium, single 200W panel, and a Victron SmartSolar 20A MPPT. Honestly the fridge consumption surprised me more than anything else.
