Anyone else had grief with a Victron Orion-Tr Smart not charging properly when the alternator voltage drops under load?

Anyone else had their Daly BMS cut out mid-charge on a cold morning?
Just to add to what @CornishSolar and @Dizzy60 are saying about the heat mat approach β€” worth making sure you're powering it from a separate small lead-acid or similar rather than the LiFePO4 bank...

PhilPowell | 312 posts Cracking write-up @48VWizard β€” Wren sounds like a well-sorted boat now. One thing worth flagging for @Roger1983 if you do make the jump: don't underestimate the DC wiring...

Multiplus 24/800 meldet regelmÀßig Low battery: Warning
Really useful points from @BlownFuse and @Mel1980 on temperature. One thing worth checking that hasn't been covered β€” have a look at your DC cable sizing between the batteries and the Multiplus.

Installation question
@StormyWelder don't let @BoxerProject put you off entirely β€” the 48/3000 might be oversized for a shepherd's hut on paper, but if you're planning any meaningful loads (induction hob, space heater,...
