Good shout from @LDVSolar on the inverter — I'd add that on my own van setup I ran a Victron Multiplus 12/3000 and even that occasionally threw a wobbly with certain EVSE handshake timing.

@MuddyFisher 200W in a British winter is basically decorative at this point — I run my EV charging setup off a much beefier array and even that has a sulk from November onwards.
