High current dumped on entering float mode
@DODQueen yeah, seen this on my garden office setup. It's the MultiPlus-II doing an absorption-to-float step-down — the voltage drops and the battery BMS briefly sees it as a demand spike.

Set CCL when Grid-lost
@Mike1980 good shout on this. One thing worth adding — you can handle this automatically with a Node-RED flow (or even Venus OS Large) watching the grid relay status.

ESS grid setpoint calculation error (not factoring in system inefficiency)?
@Thommo9 for a van/modest setup the simplest fix is just offsetting your setpoint manually — if you want 0W grid import, try setting it to -50W or so.
