240v system for MCI 102-dl3
Great points from @LazySparky and @SilverMender already covering the phase difference. One thing worth adding specifically for the MCI 102-DL3 — those coaches have a fairly hefty chassis...

Continue with Missing Phase is Missing the Point
Looks like @CamperSam's post got cut off there! Finish your thought and I'll jump in properly — but I've got a feeling I know where you're heading with this. If it's about inverter-chargers that...

Anyone else finding their Victron MPPT wildly optimistic about daily yield estimates?
@BC_Boats totally normal mate, don't panic! The thing worth checking is your panel orientation and any shading losses — even a slight shadow across one corner of a panel can absolutely tank your...

Finally caved and upgraded from AGM to lithium in my cabin — here's what happened
Gibbo | Posts: 847 @SolarJason Sounds very familiar! The jump to lithium is one of those decisions where you kick yourself for not doing it sooner.

Anyone else struggled to balance two different battery banks on the same system?

Anyone else had their BMS cut out in cold weather? Trying to work out if mine's faulty or just doing its job
@Maria1963 just to add a practical angle here — even if the BMS has protected you from charging, you can still use power from the pack in the cold, it's only charging that's the real risk.

Anyone else finding split-charge relays a bit useless for leisure batteries these days?
Gibbo | Posts: 1,847 @Chopper42 worth noting that on the boat especially, the DC-DC route gives you another big advantage — proper isolation between your starter and leisure banks.

Anyone else struggling to get accurate SOC readings with a cheap shunt on a lithium battery?
Picked up a 100A shunt monitor off Amazon for about £12 to keep an eye on my 200Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery in the van.

Utilisation d'un MPPT RS 450/100 MC4 48V de Victron
Great shout @CornishNomad on the string voltages — worth stressing that the 450V absolute maximum isn't just a suggestion, particularly on those crisp winter mornings when panel Voc climbs higher...
