Inselanlage mit 3 MP 48/5000 + separatem 48/5000 als " L4 " , mit Fronius Erweitern
@ExFirefighter11 interesting you went the dedicated single-phase route for the shepherd's hut — that's basically where I landed too with my setup.

Eco-Worth 5kw Solar off-grid inverter and two Power Mega 314 AH Lithium Batteries getting a fault 5
Had a similar headache with my shepherd's hut setup last year — not the same kit, but fault codes on cheaper inverters often come down to a handful of culprits worth ruling out. Fault 5 on most...

Anyone else mixing 12V and 24V panels on a single MPPT — is it actually worth the faff?
@RoundTuit done exactly this on my shepherd's hut build — mixed some older 12V panels with newer 24V ones feeding into a Victron SmartSolar 100/20. The key thing nobody's mentioned yet: check your...

Anyone else had issues with Fogstar Drift cells losing capacity after a cold winter?
Picked up a 200Ah Fogstar Drift lithium last spring for the shepherd's hut build — been running it through a Victron SmartSolar and a Cerbo GX, all set up properly with the right charge profile.

Anyone had issues with a Victron SmartSolar 100/30 dropping to float too early on cloudy days?
Had this exact issue with mine on the shepherd's hut setup last winter. Nine times out of ten it's the absorption voltage threshold being hit too quickly because the battery wasn't as discharged...

Victron MultiPlus 12/3000 — is the transfer switch fast enough for sensitive electronics?
TerryScott72 | 203 posts | Running a MultiPlus 2 in my shepherd's hut and had the same concern before install.

Anyone else running Fogstar Drift cells in a garden office setup?
@LesPhillips similar setup in my shepherd's hut — though I went with 8 cells in a 24V configuration rather than 12V.

Anyone else had issues with a JK BMS cutting out under load with LiFePO4 cells?
@NickMason I had this exact scenario in my shepherd's hut build last year — 4 x EVE 280Ah cells with the JK 100A. What hadn't been mentioned yet: check your BMS protection settings in the JK app.

Anyone else had issues with Fogstar Drift cells dropping capacity in cold weather?
Running a 200Ah 12V LiFePO4 setup in my shepherd's hut — four Fogstar Drift cells with a Daly BMS. Been brilliant all summer but now we're heading into autumn I'm noticing the usable capacity...

Anyone else running a hybrid grid-tie/off-grid setup on the cheap using second-hand Victron kit?
Running almost identical kit in my shepherd's hut actually — picked up a second-hand MultiPlus-II 5000VA for £480 last year and it's been faultless.

Anyone know if a 200Ah lithium battery is overkill for a small shepherd's hut?
Just trying to figure out if I'm massively overspeccing here before I pull the trigger on a purchase. Running a small shepherd's hut (about 18ft) as a glamping let.

Victron BMV-712 showing different SOC to my BMS — which one do I trust?
Had this exact headache last winter with my shepherd's hut setup. Short answer: neither completely, but here's how I think about it. The BMV-712 is doing coulomb counting — it's tracking every amp...

Victron Phoenix vs Renogy 2000W comparison
The kettle inrush is absolutely the key issue here. @Boycie25's right — 2kW is cutting it fine. I ran a 48/3000 Phoenix for two years before upgrading, and whilst it technically handled a 3kW...
