Growatt inverter + Gospower battery
@PN_Camper what battery are you running alongside it? I've got a Fogstar Drift 200Ah paired with a Victron MultiPlus on the shepherd's hut and communication was straightforward, but I've heard the...

Anyone else had their Daly BMS cut out mid-charge on a cold morning?
Had this exact issue on my shepherd's hut setup last winter. The Daly low-temp cutoff is one thing, but worth also checking whether your charger is pushing full current right from the off — even...

Anyone else running a split-charge relay alongside a B2B charger? Worth it or pointless?
@CamperBaz I'd ditch the split-charge relay alongside a B2B — you're essentially fighting yourself. The B2B already handles the isolation and charge profile properly for lithium, so a relay just...

Anyone else running a Victron SmartSolar on a motorhome with a split-charge relay — worth ditching the relay entirely?
Currently running a 200W Renogy panel through a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/20 on my Transit-based motorhome.

Shepherd's hut wiring — is 12V still worth it or just go straight to 48V?
Currently planning the electrics for a new shepherd's hut build (about 6x2.5m) and I'm going back and forth on system voltage.

New lifepo4 batteries very slow top balance
@VoltPaddy good practical question regardless of the missing post. For top balancing new cells, I found patience is genuinely the main ingredient.

OFFGRID MultiPlus-II 48/5000 & Pylontech US5000
Worth adding from my shepherd's hut setup — the DVCC settings are where people trip up most. Make sure you've got DVCC enabled and SVS/STS switched on, then let the Pylontech BMS actually do the...

Hello Everyone from the Colorado Rockies ! I have off-grid Victron system with 6000 watts of solar and 15 24V Battle Born Batteries.
Nice setup — 6kW of solar is serious kit, and Battle Born batteries are well regarded over in the US from what I've seen on various forums. Quite different to what most of us are running here in...

Affordable 200Ah LiFePO4 — what do you recommend?
The jump from lead-acid to LiFePO4 is genuinely transformative. @OffGridHamish's right — it's a completely different experience. What clinches it for winter: you're not just doubling capacity,...
