Just to add to what @RetiredChef mentioned — worth bearing in mind that if your SmartShunt hasn't had a proper full charge cycle yet, any manual SoC you set will drift pretty quickly regardless.

Had exactly this last winter with my 100Ah Victron Smart Lithium in the garden office. Temps dropped to around -4°C overnight and the battery just refused to accept a charge in the morning.
