Really interesting thread this one. @JubileeClipHero, one thing worth checking is whether your GX device is correctly identifying both inverters as separate AC-coupled sources.

Not a van but I did the MultiPlus earthing on my shepherd's hut build and it's a similar headache. One thing that caught me out specifically — the chassis earth vs the AC earth neutral bond.
@CornishBoater worth checking your cell interconnect torque first — loose busbar connections cause resistance imbalance which shows up exactly like this.
