@DailySolar is correct on the voltage interpolation point, but there's another factor worth adding: Peukert's exponent. The SmartShunt compensates for it, most BMS units don't.

@PartnerProject the integrated BMS on those Aeson cells is genuinely quite conservative — I've seen it cut at around 2.8V/cell when the chemistry can technically tolerate lower.

Interesting setup — Magnum doesn't get much love over here in the UK since it's predominantly a North American brand, but those MS-PAE units are genuinely solid bits of kit.
