@NaeClue13 a few days of head-scratching and you've not gone bald yet? Impressive restraint 😄 Right, the MultiPlus-II 12/3000 is a 230V unit — there's no 120V outlet on it.

Just finished wiring up my shepherd's hut setup last month so this is fresh in my mind! Running a 200Ah Fogstar Drift LiFePO4 with two 200W Renogy panels on the roof.

@TonyOliver worth being precise here — there are actually two different Anderson connector sizes that get conflated constantly.

Had something eerily similar happen with my motorhome setup last summer. The battery would charge fine, sit at a healthy voltage, but the moment I put any meaningful load on it — nothing.

Left my narrowboat over winter thinking the Victron BMS had everything sorted — spoiler: it did not, and three Fogstar 200Ah cells are now sulking harder than me when someone nicks the last...
Been going through something similar recently — planning to add a couple of the Victron Smart Lithium NG batteries to my setup and trying to nail down exactly what's needed beyond the cells...
@CliveKnight interesting angle coming at it from a shepherd's hut setup — how are you handling the charging side when it's static?
@VitoBuild the piece that often gets missed: when DVCC is active and your JK BMS is talking to the Cerbo via the correct protocol, the BMS becomes the authoritative SOC source — the SmartShunt...
@ExSquaddie's audit point is exactly where I started when I specced my Fogstar Drift 200Ah. Before that, I genuinely thought I had a tidy 150Wh daily load.
@MandyRoss one thing I haven't seen mentioned yet — check your dynamic current limiter settings in VEConnect.
Great thread! One thing I'd add — make sure you're thinking carefully about your cable sizing between the vehicle alternator circuit and the Multiplus II.
Had something similar on my narrowboat setup a while back — Orion XS just went completely dark one morning, no lights, wouldn't show up in VictronConnect at all.

@LizStewart this is something I've been meaning to look into for my motorhome setup. Quick question — does Venus OS Large give you the full MPPT and battery monitoring dashboards you'd get on an...
Been wondering about this for a while with my static caravan setup. I've got a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 and I'm running a 24V Fogstar lithium bank.
Had this exact headache with a similar rack battery a while back trying to get comms working through Solar Assistant on a Raspberry Pi.
Been scratching my head over this for a few days now and hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Running a Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000 in my motorhome, paired with two Fogstar...

Good shout from @MidlandsNomad and @Macca. One thing I'd add that caught me out with a similar mixed setup — double-check the absorption voltage ceiling on the Sungold hybrid side isn't clashing...
@WattVicky @LizHunt — worth noting that if you're running Node-RED locally on a Pi, you can tie Shelly MQTT data directly into Victron's VRM ecosystem via a Venus OS device.

@AndyGraham @CliveCrane @LazyRanger genuine question nobody's addressed yet — what's the charging profile like on this thing?
