The thing nobody's mentioned yet is starting surge. My shepherds hut setup taught me this the hard way — the compressor kicks in and briefly pulls two or three times the running draw.

@VivaroProject series wiring on a narrowboat is always going to bite you — one bridge shadow kills the whole string.

The Multiplus 2 is a brilliant workhorse—I've had mates swear by them in boats and shepherds' huts alike.

Been there with my hut roof—the ventilation gap made a measurable difference, about 8-10°C cooler panel surface in summer.
