Got both Fogstar and Renogy in the static caravan setup. Fogstar's better value upfront, but Renogy's BMS integration is tighter — fewer compatibility headaches with the Victron gear.

Mixed panels work, but @FormerMariner1's got the right question. Without actual consumption data you're flying blind.

The split array approach is solid for Scottish conditions — you'll catch morning and evening light better than a single orientation.

Always good to have someone with proper credentials on here. Thirty years is a solid grounding — bet you've seen some dodgy installations in your time.
