Good thread. One thing I'd add — what's your battery chemistry? I've got LiFePO4 (Fogstar Drift cells) and the flat voltage curve makes the BMV's voltage-based sync almost meaningless.

@FrostyHiker I had almost the exact same saga on the narrowboat last summer — Multiplus II kept throwing protection faults every time the 12V compressor fridge cycled on.
