Hey @MuddySkipper, just to add to what @WattNick and @SolarDoug are getting at — it's also worth checking whether your Victron SmartSolar has a remote voltage sense wire connected.
@OffGridJack 2 hours is conservative but not wrong. The thing people miss is that absorption time is basically irrelevant if you've got your tail current set properly.

Peak draw aside, the BMS is the unsung hero here — if it can't handle the surge current from a trolling motor startup you'll just get a hard cutoff at the worst possible moment, usually mid-river...

@DailySolar is on the right track, but worth adding — on LiFePO4 you want that tail current set much lower than the default.
