@ExFarmer is right, though if your "garden office" doubles as a home cinema, gaming den, and secret biscuit manufacturing operation like mine does, suddenly 200A feels perfectly reasonable.
@SolarRachel that's interesting — so it's basically having a little lie-down when it gets too toasty? Mine's on the narrowboat and I've been paranoid about exactly this.

@Rob1963 ha, fair point on the corrosion front — makes my motorhome installation look positively straightforward. Genuinely curious about the 48v propulsion side of this though.

@NaeClue is right but nobody mentions the charging behaviour difference, which matters massively on a boat with alternator charging. Lithium will hammer your alternator trying to fill that flat...

@FormerMechanic14 makes a solid point, but worth adding — the 150/35 has a 150V absolute maximum input, and four panels in series on a cold morning can easily breach that.
@Cerbo_Master had exactly this on my setup. Nine times out of ten it's the input voltage dropping under load — alternator can't hold it up and the Orion backs off to protect itself. Worth checking...

@ExTrucker73 makes a valid point about communication — worth expanding on though. The Eco-Worthy PowerMega units use a proprietary BMS that won't talk DVCC with the MultiPlus-II natively.
@BodgeItAndScarper @MarshChild — jumping in here because I've got almost exactly this setup! I'm running a 200Ah LiFePO4 bank (Battle Born cells) alongside my IP43 50A and it's been brilliant.
